This is a rare item from the early series 3 back in 2009 worn by Lorraine Bruce as Valda, Madges estranged daughter and Janice’s sister

The outfit is a beautiful custom made silk/silky material kaftan with hand attached sequins and is in lovely condition .

Worn in series 3 , episode 4

Worn in the following scenes :

-In the famous opening scene where she scrabbles with Gavin over the “boogers” that Mateo is serving .

- Later when Valda fights and throws ketchup at Garvin by pool , before being recognised by Madge and the Garveys.

- When Valda and Vickram sit down in the solana foyer to thrash out their differences with madge and Janice , before Valda storms off .

Janice asks Valda to come to the Solana to discuss things. Valda immediately clashes with her mother Madge and things begin to heat up. She arrives with her Indian boyfriend, Vikram "Vicky", who doesn't speak a word of English. She went out with one of Mick's friends. She also is a Landlord with 14 houses and her boyfriend is a doctor however Madge still accuses her of digging for Mel's money.

The item was originally sourced from an extra who worked on the show. this was the same source that supplied the recent Mick Garvey silver suit to the seller on eBay , and who worked as one of the cross dressers at Madge and Mel’s wedding . Happy to provide a letter of authenticity attested to this if required.
